Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Romano should die with his best pitch. Fastball bitch, fastball
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 What's it going to take to change the batting order? This team needs a shakeup.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 At least the Rays and Cleveland lost... Chisox catching up.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Romano looks like's been rode hard and put away wet after Chucky kept running him out there time after time like it was the playoffs in April. Guy won't let a SP throw more than 80 pitches in April but has no problem with his CL pitching 5 times a week.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Romano hasn't been good for weeks. I wonder if he's injured? Not sure who we would turn to in the 9th now if this keeps continuing Keep making stuff up
Dagagad Verified Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Romano has had tons of rest recently but didn’t have it tonight. It happens. Our bullpen isn’t that good. We knew it was an average bullpen before the season started. It’s not a surprise.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Thats what you get when you don't pitch for a week Oh, that's a long time, makes sense why he didn't have it, I guess?
Dagagad Verified Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Yeah April was a mirage, much like last season when Dolis/Chatwood/etc completely unraveled in May Well, the one thing is I don’t think it’s as bad as last season. At times we had a genuinely bad bullpen last year and also a bullpen that always gave up just enough runs to lose a lot, which is bad luck I guess realistically. Seeing some of that this year. It almost seems like we are more likely to lose a game where we score 5 than where we score 2.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Oh, that's a long time, makes sense why he didn't have it, I guess? Should have pitched 1 game in Cleveland, unfortunately he just couldn't locate today
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 You have to wonder about management allowing Chuckles as your manager and not properly addressing the bullpen for the second year in a row.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 What's it going to take to change the batting order? This team needs a shakeup. They scored 5 runs and 2 against the best BP in baseball. I think we need to work on and execute our run prevention.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Should have pitched 1 game in Cleveland, unfortunately he just couldn't locate today He didn't have any of it, command or stuff, he looked awful.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Burned all of the good arms today, though they SHOULD be able to go tomorrow with the offday Thursday. Brutal loss, gotta take tomorrow’s game. Need Berrios to spin a gem and the offense has to take the bat off their shoulders
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 The bullpen is fine Dude, the sky is legit falling right now,
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 They scored 5 runs and 2 against the best BP in baseball. I think we need to work on and execute our run prevention. Yeah 5 runs should be enough to win a ballgame especially when the other team had 0 scored through 5 innings. Bullpen dropped a steamy tonight
BuckHenry Verified Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Hoping for at least a last place wild card spot … anything else .., I dunno ..,, so disappointed in this team and their management.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 They scored 5 runs and 2 against the best BP in baseball. I think we need to work on and execute our run prevention. I'm talking about our season as a whole. This is one game. All those one run wins could have been losses. The Offence is anemic right now.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 He didn't have any of it, command or stuff he looked awful. After the first batter he wanted nothing to do with his fastball, weird
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Genuine concern we might become .500 after the series with Rays considering how badly Trop is for us.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Genuine concern we might become .500 after the series with Rays considering how badly Trop is for us. If the team hangs around .500 that’s ok… many playoff teams have been .500 at the allstar break and gone on to make it/win the WS.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Oddsmakers still rank the jays ahead of the Yankees to win it all. Which is weird considering the jays can't beat the Yankees
Dagagad Verified Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 The bullpen is fine The bullpen is fine as in dead average. I would say the importance of bullpens are generally overrated but in this division it could be a problem.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 At least the game is 12:30 tomorrow, hopefully a win so I can forget about this s***
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 I’m so done with this f***ing team. See you guys tomorrow.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 Rays still win this division. Book it!
