connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Gausman still needs to dethrone AM as ace. He’ll have to keep pace today
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Gausman still needs to dethrone AM as ace. He’ll have to keep pace today I'm good having two 'aces' Nice to have Gausman, Manoah and Berrios all locked in/under control for the next 5+ years.

He’ll have to keep pace today Right now I think the Jays have two aces and could argue that Gausman has been as good as it gets in the entire league...let along the Jays roster. Yes, hoping he continues his complete domination. Both have been incredible and have helped carry the team through a rough April. Offense has to turn the corner and show up today. Today is the day the offense must announce its presence and they are back to business as usual.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Gausman no walks and 31 ks What about Ray?
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 This would be a decent looking lineup if Tapia was hitting in the #9 spot. Seriously, what’s it going to take for them to stop giving Zimmer at bats? Getting Teo back onto the roster.
Ray Verified Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Actually kind of excited to see Vinny Capra. He seemingly turned a corner after 2020 and has been doing well in the minors since. Specifically against LHP: ’21 @ AA: .493/.541/.866 ’22 @ AAA: .364/.417/.455
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 At least Zimmer is good in CF Remember the days of Derek Fisher trying to catch fly balls with his f***ing forehead?

max silver Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 There’s really nobody in the minors they couldn’t give a chance to? They’re looking pretty dumb for DFA’ing Josh Palacios. The upper minors are pretty barren for the Jays when it comes to outfield depth. I agree the DFA of Palacios was a real head scratcher to say the least.

DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Man we really need to get the bats going.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Last time we play the Stros this season. Until the playoffs:cool:
BlueJays Verified Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Gausman no walks and 31 ks What about Ray? 30.1 IP 12 BB 26K in 5 starts
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 30.1 IP 12 BB 26K in 5 starts He's pitched ok so far but velocity is down several ticks early on compared to last year.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Did Pat just say that might have scored Zimmer?
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
