Anyone here worried about Guerrero ? Seems way off and his numbers are down big time. Is he pressing or getting bad calls ? I do hope this turns around as the offender centres on him.

Those borderline or bad calls are getting into him. Hopefully he turns around this May.

Honestly not really. He's still getting his hits, but pitchers aren't giving him easy pitches and he does seem to get some bad calls to start the year. He's a good hitter, I'm sure he'll adjust.

Tough schedule, offense and injuries have been an issue...14 and 8....good sign, they have not been close to playing their best ball.

No doubt, hardest schedule in the first 6 weeks.

Thank goodness the pitching has been lights out for the most part this season because the offense is lagging behind. I know, that is true for most teams, but damn, the Jays offense has really struggled. That said, the Jays have managed a good start to the season. The three top starters look good....real good and the the top arms in the bullpen are bringing it.

I do think that once Hernandez returns, the offense will begin to turn the corner.

4 runs in 3 games and 2 wins doesn't happen very often. Thank God for Springer.. he's almost single handedly gotten them 2 of the last 3 W's along with obviously good pitching. It's pretty apparent this team has no depth at all, it's one thing to lose a star like Hernandez from the lineup, when your replacement is Bradley Zimmer that becomes an absolutely devastating loss.

Good/decent infield depth, decent pitching depth, but the OF depth is pretty bad. Could use 1 more solid/above average outfielder… someone like AJ Pollock or Conforto. Upgrade at the trade deadline.

Maybe Pollock, Conforto just had surgery and is out for the season

I didn’t mean specifically those players, just players like that. I thought of those 2 off the top of my head, im aware Conforto is out for the year.

We'll know at the deadline, there should be plenty available everywhere.

I'm sure having no one to hit behind him is not helping. Once, Teo comes back, I think you'll see a big difference.

I am sure now that they discovered they can make Guerrero a little less effective by throwing pitches off the plate, they will throw it down the middle and make him better when Teo comes back.

It's not helping that Guerrero is perhaps having calls go against him, but they are pitching him tough and just off the plate outside. I am sure they will continue the exact same strategy when Teo comes back, and it will be up to Guerrero to be a bit more patient if he's not getting anything to hit (and again Umps haven't helped).

6th worst so far according to this site - http://powerrankingsguru.com/mlb/strength-of-schedule.php

Yankees have it easy

Rays opened at home with 4 vs. Baltimore, Yankees have already played them 7 times, Sox beating up on them this weekend. For some reason (because the schedule makers are idiots) the Jays don't see Baltimore until June 13th, by that time the other 3 teams will have played at least half of their 19 games against them.
