Signal Verified Member Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 It is time for Gurriel to hit his first HR.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Yimi against middle of the order = BS
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 We are desperate to get Danny Jansen back. The same Danny Jansen who had 2 hits in his first 51 plate appearances last year. It's still early. People have no patience. It's funny, last year early on Jansen couldn't hit, Kirk was hurt and we couldn't wait for him to come back. This year it's the opposite.

This year it's the opposite. People and fans always overrreact to small sample size stuff in the early going of every season. If someone starts hot, they're seen as a great hitter for the next 3 months even if they stink for 2 of those months. If someone starts like donkey nuts, they're thought of to suck for at least 3 months, even if they hit fine for 2 of those months. It's like people's brains shut off at the start of the season and think the first 2 weeks of plate appearances define a season for a player.

Im saying he has shown enough in the past that we need to give him a chance to get his LH bat going. It would be a big asset. Its been a rough start tiny sample 22.
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 So Yimi for 2 innings or go to Cimber?
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 vladdy has wheels for a big guy
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 So Yimi for 2 innings or go to Cimber? Dolis
Signal Verified Member Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Yimi should start the 9th. He barely got loose that inning.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2022 Author Posted April 23, 2022 Yimi against middle of the order = BS Your predictions = BS. Go f*** a goat

Not a sss if It’s a continuation of the prior season, good or bad
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2022 Author Posted April 23, 2022 Who is pitching the 9th? Romano has pitched 2 days in a row and a lot of games in general. Looks like Cimber but maybe they let Garcia go back out since he really didnt throw many pitches, and Cimber is just plan B
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Who is pitching the 9th? Romano has pitched 2 days in a row and a lot of games in general. Garcia or Cimber...
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 I am good with Cimber he has been fantastic and tough on lefties.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 true if Biggio has a timing issue due to lack of playing time, both now and in the injury filled 2021, AAA would be best for him. The pitch velocity is just a bit below MLB. Give him 10 straight starts for Buffalo and I bet he starts tearing the cover off again
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Come on. Another run or two would be nice.
