They really need to start implementing team errors for situations like that. No way should that count as a hit but we'll take it lol

That is some seriously excellent fundamental baserunning there. A superstar like Vladdy could get away with dogging it, but nope, running it out like a pro.

Big blunder from Brasier there. I'm constantly amazed that he is a major league pitcher. His stuff looks incredibly hittable.

Makes an RBI for Chapman

BTW how many times has Tabby said "RBI guy" today? A LOT

Those did not look like good swings from Springer. If he wasn't good enough to start then why not just give him the day off?

I don't know how you assign an error when no one touches the ball. Tough call.

They should be assigned as team errors. They manage individual and team turnovers in basketball and they should do the same in baseball.

I think "the play would have been made by an average fielder" is a reasonable rule. Errors are already a judgment call, so just expand to include team errors.

Trevor Story looks nothing like the player from Colorado. I hope this is the version we see for the next 6 years

This is exactly how Teo pulled his oblique, over compensating for an injured wrist/forearm. Hope Springer plays smart. Don’t swing out of your boots

Is there a chance Gausman gets a complete game? Or is that not allowed by the Montoyo playbook lol.

I think there's a chance, if he stays this efficient and doesn't get into any real trouble there's no need to use the pen. Though Chuckles DOES love changing pitchers at every possible opportunity (I'm very thankful for the 3 batters rule... :P )

I think they let him go close to 100 pitches so I guess it's a possibility.

Were I the supreme overlord of baseball, the first rule I'd implement is "bunting results in a dead ball, and automatic out of the batter".
