Ya it is. If he is anything close to 20 or 1st half 21 he gives us a much stronger rotation. The guys eats $20mm this year and next, limiting us on other options, so if we can we need to salvage value.

It sucks man, and the trade deadline is a long ways away. Looks like Chicken Strip is the next man up, if Ryu's going for imaging, I assume he might hit the IL for a while.

How is it a blessing? This whole situation sucks balls, lol.

Meaning having him in our rotation while he sucks isn't good. Am I wrong? Of course I would like a miracle and for him to be what we paid for.

I understand that, but guys adjust coming into a season on a new slate, a few innings isn't much a tell, especially after a short ST, pitchers are getting rekt all over the league. It's all moot if he's hurt, but it really sucks balls. We just needed Ryu to be decent at the back of the rotation, ah well.

Okay, gruber.

This is going back to last year's second half, so it's not that small of a sample. You would think (as most did after last year's season) that Ryu would have looked a lot better to start this season, given that he had tons of time to rest and get his s*** together. Shatkins obviously needs to extract whatever value they can out of him, but this year is about winning games, period.

My point is that Shatkins will probably force feed us Ryu, regardless of performance because he has $40M left on his deal, so it's better for the team as a whole if he goes on the DL. I'd rather have Francis over Ryu at this point.

I used to pay MLB and got blackout alot of games and got fed up.

Now I use MLB 66 with Nord but never heard of sportsurge I'd like to try it out. Is it just a matter of going to the site and can i access with Nord VPn.

It's the guys who used to run r/MLBStreams on Reddit, I'm guessing Reddit cracked down on them a bit, so they set up a site with links to multiple other streams. I don't use/need a VPN to connect, but 100% use an adblocker. I wouldn't trust these sites w/ an unprotected browser.

It sucks. Like 5 years ago we got every game. Then they took the Jays away. Now a bunch of other games are missing.

Yup, I wanted to watch the Dodgers/Reds on Friday night and said it was an Apple+ game! Like WTF? If I knew it was going to be like that, likely wouldn't have renewed for 2022.

Dodgers/Red is always a great game to see, even if the rivalry isn't what it once was.

As a mod of r/torontobluejays, I got a fun little nugget of news for y'all.

We might be doing an AMA with Gosuke Katoh on the subreddit soon. So if you have any questions, it would be a great time to ask.

Hate to say it but it might be a blessing in disguise for the team if he ends up on the IL

Of course it is, can someone else actually do any worse? I'm no Stripling fan at all but he threw 4 scoreless the other day, Ryu couldn't throw 4 scoreless with Sandy Coufax's arm

ask if he knows about the projection system KATOH and what he thinks about it being named after him if so

For someone who doesn’t like discussing Greg Bird you really do talk about him a lot! Just saying!

Hmm

Or Catoh as he's known in the JF54 household

Just saw that Ryu is on the 10 day IL.

I have a feeling he's going to be spending a lot of time on the IL over the next two seasons.

Last year with Biggio if felt like it came from nowhere and was more about him sucking. Which was confirmed really when they wouldn’t bring him up from milb. At least in this case, there were some reports of forearm tightness. Probably isn’t a good reason why he was awful though. Not saying this because of 4 IP, but I think Striping is an alright #6 or #7 SP. Good for situations like this.

What? Biggio's injury issues last year were pretty well covered in the press.

I don’t recall that. Maybe I’m wrong. I thought it came out of the blue he had some neck troubles. I don’t care enough to dig back into it but you can let me know if I’m wrong.

Look at each player through an objective lens, instead of creating a bias for / against.

Jays now 4-0 when the ump isnt blind and affects the game by less than 1 run.

Remain 2-4 when the ump's calls affect the game by more than 1 run.

Jim, put my trade through please, thanks. Connor judges guys on 10 game samples continuously, he's an idiot.
