Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 In ALE, 110 wins would be a season for the ages
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 It's bold, eeyore. We know you can't comprehend this... Bold can also mean they don't win 30 games this season.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Bold can also mean they don't win 30 games this season. Haha!
InsideThePark Verified Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Danny Jansen is a 5 fWAR player Teo wins MVP Espinal and Biggio both have an higher OPS than Jose Ramirez who finishes the year in Cleveland Pearson pitches over 100 innings and has a lower ERA than Manoah Orelvis puts up a 1.200 OPS in the minors, gets called up in September to fill in for an injured Chapman and hits a homerun in each of his first 3 plate appearances Tapia pitches an inning for the Jays on 2 different occasions. Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Biggio and Espinal combine for 6 fWAR which is roughly the same as Jose Ramirez
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Jays play in world series That ain't bold, leaffie, we know this! It's for U!!!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Merryweather, Pearson stay off IL all year long, and with Romano they form a 3-headed monster, closing 95 games. lol...
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Romano gets 0 saves this season because the Jays win all of their games by at least 10 runs.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Romano gets 0 saves this season because the Jays win all of their games by at least 10 runs. Woohoo... 110 wins will be easy to make!
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Kirk and Moreno both get traded mid-season, because Jansen is having too dominant of a year to ever sit.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 some combination of groshans, pearson, moreno, martinez are traded by the deadline
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 some combination of groshans, pearson, moreno, martinez are traded by the deadline That doesn't strike me as a particularly bold prediction.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Grant will admit, at some point during the season, that he was wrong about something.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Grant will admit, at some point during the season, that he was wrong about something. Now that's bold, really bold
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 That doesn't strike me as a particularly bold prediction. originally i was gonna say 3/4 get traded but i just can't see it happening, no way shatkins empty the cupboards AA style. anyway point taken, i'm not one for bold takes
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Biggio bats sub .200 theres a wet blanket thread for this s***
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 George Springer becomes a pitcher as well and pitches 60 innings with a sub 1 ERA.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Biggio bats sub .200 theres a wet blanket thread for this s*** Biggio bats sub-.200 but his OBP is still somehow .360.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Biggio bats sub-.200 but his OBP is still somehow .360. Biggio goes Gallo and breaks Gallo's record for position player WAR hitting < .200 (well not sure if Gallo has the record but had 3.5 WAR last year with .199... anybody with more? Maybe some crazy d catcher or short stop or something) Cavan Biggio .197 148 walks 46 homeruns, defense at second rates unbelievable, 30-1 as a base-stealer with every other base running metric lights out. Ends up with 8.1 WAR. Sees more pitches than any other player in history.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Jays play in world series What's bold about this? The World Series will be easy to make!
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Grant will admit, at some point during the season, that he was wrong about something. I don't know that I have ever gotten one of these bold predictions correct, but hopefully some day.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Montoyo surprise announces he is retiring, to spend more time with his new husband, Rafael Dollis. love, love, love this
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Grant will admit, at some point during the season, that he was wrong about something. Grant will finally decide to announce he was wrong about something and plan to post that Billy McKinney is not the next Justin Upton May 15th. However Billy will find his way to some playing time, get off to a hot start, and Grant will justifiably hold off on that announcement. Billy will be re-acquired by the Jays at the deadline to balance the lineup. His final numbers will be .282 29 83, and that will be close enough to Justin Upton like numbers that Grant will never have to admit he was wrong. Tapia will also be picked off 3 times, once in a key situation also ensuring Grant will never have to admit being wrong about that.
