In a season where 3 teams won 100+ games, and a 91 win team finished 4th in their division.The 88 win Atlanta Braves are a prime example of how anything can happen if you just get in.

Weird how fox isn't saying a word about Atlanta losing the all Star game this year. That was huge motivation for Atlanta this year to prove MLB was wrong to do that.

Congrats to Atlanta. I doubt many people picked them to win the WS at the start of the year, but that's what makes this game great. I love basketball too but the number of teams that can win it all is very small. But in baseball, anything can happen, and thus the Braves took advantage.

They are going to backup the Brinks truck to Freddie's door. He's becomes a Brave for life this offseason.

That's neat, Freeman hit the most homerun's in a PS tying him with the Crime Dog in Braves history at 5.

I really just meant fifth. They're not behind the Orioles. Has any WS champ ever only qualified for fifth in another division was the intent behind what I wrote.

 

OK. Probably not. But that's what makes it so great. Teams in pretty much any other division have a legit shot but we get to participate in the most challenging division in Baseball year in and year out. Isn't that great.
