Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Author Posted November 3, 2021 Holy f***... that was crushed!!! Soler! Garcia didn't even bother to look back, lol.
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 You could see that coming. He'd lost all command of his pitches.
GoJays1562 Verified Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Damn Soler is a strong dude.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Author Posted November 3, 2021 Holy f*** what a bomb 109.6... 446 Ft, lol... missile!
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Soler with the monster slong dong. Just give him MVP right now.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 That Soler HR was predictable. He was squaring up on everything Garcia was throwing him. What a shot.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 That Soler HR was predictable. He was squaring up on everything Garcia was throwing him. What a shot. Definitely felt it coming. Or at least a hard double
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Author Posted November 3, 2021 Dansby putting a stamp on this Mofo... Stros running out of outs.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Astros are just imploding. The 88 win Braves are the best in the the world!
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Looks like AA with the WS ring he couldn’t get with TOR. His additions delivered in the playoffs in spades, as did his vets. Gutsy performance all round by a team who lost some huge players. You just have to get in and get on a roll at the right time. Congratulations!
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Soler with the monster slong dong. Just give him MVP right now. Good time to get hot and crush some baseballs for the impending FA Solar. Dude was a BEAST in 2019 (and 2018 with a SSS) and then was not good in the COVID 2020 season....he was awful with KC this year, but as soon as he arrived in Atlanta, he turned back into 2019 Solar. It will be interesting to see what he gets as a FA. He could be a steal as he shouldn't command a big or long term deal due to the recent volatility. Playoff MVP probably adds $$ and maybe an extra year though.
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 I don't want Houston to win, and it probably wouldn't matter anyway. But bad calls like that prevent any attempt of a rally.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Fried is coming out....bullpen time.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Author Posted November 3, 2021 Freddie Freeman, putting a bow on it.
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 This game has been a complete dud.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Im just glad the Astros aren’t gonna win again. Feel kinda bad for Dusty though. Guy has come SUPER close to winning a WS multiple times. Likely retires this year you’d think
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 This game has been a complete dud. Games 1/2/6 boring as fk Games 3/4/5 pretty lit

Guy has come SUPER close to winning a WS multiple times. Likely retires this year you’d think Yeah, WS 2002 Giants-Angels I believe. I think he with the Cubs during the 3-1 collapse against the Marlins in the 2003 NLCS. And now getting to the 6th game of the WS here with the Astros.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Brian Snitker has been with the Braves for 45 years? 20 years as a minor league manager? Holy f***.....this man has earned a ring.

Guy has come SUPER close to winning a WS multiple times. Likely retires this year you’d think Agreed about Dusty. Even if he comes back next year, chances are the Astros won’t be as good with Correa likely leaving. This might have been his last real chance.

I think the NL adopting the DH would be very helpful for him because I don’t think he can play OF everyday. Wouldn’t be suprised if Atlanta tries to retain him.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Author Posted November 3, 2021 I'm still hoping there is a way for both these teams to lose. I don't want to see the cheats win but it pisses me off to no end that a team with less wins than the Jays, and who the Jays went 6 for 6 against this season, is on the brink of a WS championship because they got hot at the right time and just happen to be in the shittiest division in baseball. They shouldn't have even got a sniff of the playoffs never mind win a WS. They won 88 games in a division where 2nd place only won 82. Wins... take a look at the run differential and expected W/L... look at their record since the deadline AA saved their season, job well done by the Braves and congrats to them. Very good team.
King Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Why no trigger warnings before they mention M*cell O*una?
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 I LOVE seeing those 2 young kids front row, right behind home plate for this game. They look like 10-12 years old.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 I'm so sad that there's only 1 remaining out in this baseball season. I love baseball.
