It’s over guys. Doubtful we get another baserunner.

Getting baserunners late in games is an impossible task for this team. Nevermind scoring runs

Both of you guys get f***ed lol

Stats By STATS

@StatsBySTATS

The @BlueJays' Bo Bichette and Marcus Semien combined for 3 HR tonight, giving them 8 apiece against the Yankees this season.

They're the first teammate duo to each hit 8+ HR against the Yankees in a single season.

Man we are 48 and 43 against above .500 teams. The White Sox are 26-29 against above .500 teams. This is why you need expanded playoffs. A good team or possibly 2 will miss the playoffs in the AL East. We've played 91 games against above .500 teams. The Sox have played 55. We'd have 8 to 10 more wins if we played in the Central.

Nah forget that, we got to stop asking for things to get easier and just start getting elite. If the Rays can do it with their incredibly limited payroll we can do it.

It feels like we are right there, just need to be at home, a good left handed bat and a much better pen.

Bo is alpha. Charlie is beta.

Our alpha guys need to stop bailing this f***er beta out.

Would you prefer the team lose and miss the playoffs? Like it or not we are stuck with Charlie so maybe we should cheer for the team to win?

Any win we get and Cucktoyo gets credit. We're not making the playoffs anyways, so let's get this f***er canned.

I don’t think MLB needs expanded playoffs but it definitely needs a divisional realignment or a different way of deciding which teams make it. Absolute garbage that the Braves are onto the NLDS with fewer than 90 wins meanwhile the Dodgers or Giants will be forced to play a wildcard game with more than 100 wins.

It would probably look a lot better if they went back to AL/NL East/West divisions and had the top 2 from each division (8 teams) make the playoffs. Or 1 top team from each division plus the next 2 best records in the league.

We don't need more playoff spots in baseball. We need realignment. Two divisions per league.

Need to re-align a tad with respect to history. Detroit moves to the AL East where they belong. Milwaulkee comes back to the AL in AL central. TBR goes to NL East and Atlanta back to the central, where they belong as historically they were the NL West for some godamn reason.

Don't have to deal with TBR anymore

Slight variation on above

Go back mostly to the old AL East/West and NL East/West, but keep the wild card s***. Each division has a winner and 2 wild cards, who play a play-in to play the winner. That expands the playoffs a bit to 12 teams, but only 4 with guaranteed playoff series.

Wow what a nerve racking game yesterday Berrios was dealing but what a let down from Mayza talk about a bad pitch he served to Higashioka in the 7th inning a slider middle in any MLB hitter can put that ball in play. I was disgusted after that sloppy delivery I could live better with the Richards offering knowing full well that pitch wasn't bad pitch it was even talked about the MLB channel saying it was 1.26 feet off the dirt they all said it took superb effort from Stanton to put that ball in play let alone hit it out. Luckily Bo Bichette came through because in the crunch because we could easily suffered another heart breaking loss at the hand of the bullpen

Playoffs. They hired Montoyo. There's no guarantee we'd get an upgrade when they hired someone else.

When you start from the bottom, the only way to go is up.

Showalter?

Showalter's teams made the playoffs 3 times in 5 years the last time he managed (2012-16) with a roster that many times had no business doing it. I wouldn't say he's even as bad as Charlie, much less worse. He's definitely above him.

Montoyo is the bottom of the barrel, and that's not an exaggeration.
