keggy Verified Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Pearson's mechanics are off and his stuff is still filthy. If he ever learns to throw strikes and not be injured all the time he's gonna be scary.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 They're sitting dead red on his fastball. Mix in a couple of sliders for strikes.
InvincibleTiger Verified Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Thx God for insurance
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Of course Sanchez the Jays killer goes deep
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 They're sitting dead red on his fastball. Mix in a couple of sliders for strikes. They have tried...no control of it.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 1918 Ruth 1.5 WAR pitching, 5.2 hitting 2021 Ohtani 2.3 WAR pitching, 4.6 hitting Fewer games in 1918 also. Baseball was a lot different 103 years ago. There’s no way you can think this is comparable. Please tell me this is the case.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 They have tried...no control of it. Unless you have a Rivera cutter, you can't make a career of one pitch
Laika Community Moderator Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 1918 Ruth 1.5 WAR pitching, 5.2 hitting 2021 Ohtani 2.3 WAR pitching, 4.6 hitting Fewer games in 1918 also. So Ohtani is going to blow him out of the water when it's all said and done. Okay.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Baseball was a lot different 103 years ago. There’s no way you can think this is comparable. Please tell me this is the case. Of course it's not comparable. You said its never been done before. Wrong.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Sanchez has scary power when he connects.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Unless you have a Rivera cutter, you can't make a career of one pitch Sure...not sure what that has to do with anything though
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Of course it's not comparable. You said its never been done before. Wrong. Jonn has been spewing nonsense all thread lol
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Getting up Romano again probably puts him out for Friday regardless.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 So Ohtani is going to blow him out of the water when it's all said and done. Okay. By 0.6 WAR, roughly
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 cmon Nate, meatball That was a 98.5 mph fastball that was not inside the strike.....give the hitter some credit. There's no earthly reason why that ball was hit out.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Pearson throwing meatballs
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Of course it's not comparable. You said its never been done before. Wrong. What you said just completely contradicts itself but ok.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 this guy is a bit of a choker lol
