Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2021 Author Posted September 4, 2021 This one had bat flip game vibes. It's about time.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 What an Epic win holy s***.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 Our pitching fell down, but our bats finally picked them up with a huge comeback!
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 It only counts as one W but it was f***ing awesome and so far biggest of the year! Wow.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 Hopefully this is the start of a downturn for Oakland too.
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 The last two innings of this game were just a crazy roller coaster. I can imagine all too well how A's fans must feel after this one given how many disappointing losses the Jays poor bullpen has been responsible for. At least all of the worst offenders are gone in Chatwood, Dolis, Hand and Thornton.

InvincibleTiger Verified Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 All I can say is Gurriel is damn clutch. I don't want to see anymore Grich s*** unless it is for late game defensive replacement.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 me: "8-2 in the 8th, I'm going to Costco" later me: "f*** you, earlier me" f*** me. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've literally watched every Jays game to completion, even bad losses. In the 8th inning with one out I channel surfed only to find that young hernandez kid playing Osaka and the third set is starting. I'm not a huge tennis fan, but this is the US open and an 18 year old Canadian kid going toe to toe with the defending champion. I watched an enjoyable third set with the young Canadian coming through with a huge upset, only to turn the channel to discover my tragic error. Jays in 30 got a workout after that.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 There really is something about games in Toronto in which Elvis Andrus plays on the opposing team. Someone write something about this phenomenon.
Ryu In My House Verified Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 me: "8-2 in the 8th, I'm going to Costco" later me: "f*** you, earlier me" I turned it off when we were down 8-2, started doing housework, but then my phone blew up (Twitter) and I turned it back on in to see Lourdes' dinger. I almost turned it off again after the A's were up 10-8, but figured nah. The season is almost over. Enjoy it while I can. And they f***ing won! Craziest, come from behind, win I can ever remember watching.
Ryu In My House Verified Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 Berrios and Ray next two games. Time to make some noise. Even a split means they are still in it, but damn winning these two would be amazing. We may end up 2.5 GB at the end of it.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 What is with As relievers only have mid 80s fastballs that seems like a recipe for disaster. LGJ grandslam on an 89 mph heater and Semien walk of on an 86mph 2 seam...... I know location but Jease.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 me: "8-2 in the 8th, I'm going to Costco" later me: "f*** you, earlier me" I also went to Costco after it was 8-2…. Though I hadn’t realized they came back until this morning, which was a very nice surprise. Still doesn’t mean Manoah shouldn’t have pulled after 5 Chuck, I still want you fired.
King Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 I was at the game. Unforgettable experience!!
