DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Always sceptical of the narratives about the fans and home field advantage blah blah but you do get the feeling that having the support and being in a real park is giving these guys a lift in their push for a wild card. It’s just got to be a lot more fun for them to play in Toronto. Buff and Dunedin did their best but it was just weird all the time. I think we all do not appreciate how hard it was basically being on the road all your games for the last 2 seasons....it has to be a huge relief for the players.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 As much as I enjoyed that, I have to admit I was a little annoyed he wasn’t running as that ball barely got out. He almost had a really long single. I missed the game last night. I've watched Jays in 30 three times this morning. It hasn't annoyed me once. I listened to game in the car. We had just scored our 7th run when I had to leave the car. I'm so pumped for todays twin bill!

If we are going to pick on someone, Bo jogged to first base on his single because he thought it was a home run.

Bo actually stood in the box on his opposite field off the wall single in the same inning too. This crap happens lol.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Uh oh Well there goes the games today.
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Well there goes the games today. Doubt it
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Well there goes the games today. Why would the games be cancelled?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Why would the games be cancelled? Oh, it's not a Covid positive, just precaution?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Normally they have to do tracing etc, in covid cases that takes time. I've seen plenty games cancelled this year as it takes about a day.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Oh, it's not a Covid positive, just precaution? Just said he is not feeling well, I don't think it was a covid positive. Just put him on the Covid-il as a precaution i guess.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 No one else seems to be tweeting about this? Hmm...
