My point stands. Hes a #2 on a good team. I don’t understand why people are arguing this point. This is a good thing lol. Just don’t tell me he’s in the class of the truly elite Starters in this league. Hes not.

Shows you elite stats, says it's not elite....lol, believe what you want clearly you don't listen to reason.

He's also been durable, and has improved every year. He competes, looks like a good fielder and is a good character guy. Total package sp. There's lots of intangibles, beyond just the stats.

C'mon, Jerb just posted the evidence...... where's your counter evidence other than your "opinion"

Lol, kid makes incredible catch on that foul and a guy behind me yells "Hey Dozier, did you see that?!"

Earlier the guy said "Dozier, when your mom said you can play third base she was lying!"

#2 with potential to emerge into an ace.

3.73 ERA seems pretty high to be 3rd in the league or has the offensive environment changed a lot in the last 3 years? A guy with an era closer to 4 than 3 is an ace these days?

Let us know what you're going to yell, we might see you!

To be clear, no one here has said Berrios is an ace. Jonn says he is a #2. He is not. Berrios is a #1 starter on the majority of MLB teams.

Ryu and Berrios are 1A and 1B.

Ok I had no idea the definition of an ace then. I thought an ace = number 1 starter

I don’t argue with people who use ERA to argue a pitcher being elite. I could post a full list of the games best starters and you guys can tell me who you would prefer to have. But it would be utterly pointless at this point lol.

Not every #1 starter on every team is a dominant ace, it's not hard. he would be #1 on quite a few teams, that's just a fact, whatever. Semantics anyway.

This is bad faith , there was a lot more there then just ERA....but you knew that already. No pone said he is the best pitcher in baseball..more bad faith, moving the goal posts. No point discussing anything with you.

And then you have teams like the Padres and Dodgers who have multiple aces.

Being a #1 starter on a majority of MLB teams doesn’t make you an Ace. That’s what I’m arguing. Majority of teams in the league suck.
