Video replay is such a f***ing joke. How can they get so many plays wrong. When a glove touches someone you see movement on the glove and the player. As long as the camera view doesn't show clear space between the glove and the player they just stick with the call. We clearly benefited from this against Chicago and got f***ed tonight. You see it almost nightly throughout the league a replay that should be overturned that isn't.

So heated about the blown calls in the 9th,that I forgot all about the missed strike call on Gary Sanchez which made it a 2-0 count instead of 1-1 count completely changing the at bat.

I watched two pathetic things tonight. One was us failing to score a run in the ninth, and the other was Charlie submissively saying "okay" to CB Buckner as he walked away back to the dugout. Great job fighting for your team Charlie. How the f*** is this guy still employed? Was speaking Spanish really the only requirement? Who cares if they think he's a nice guy and the players like him, you need a voice in the dugout. Gibby would have thrown a tantrum at least and got his money's worth.

You almost did it. I actually agreed with the first half of your post. I was very surprised. Also felt a bit embarrassed. But then you ruined it with all the Spanish speak stuff, and I immediately felt better about myself.

Springer and Kirk get back and we trade for a reliable arm and get Borucki and Merryweather back and this team has the talent to rattle off 10 straight. It's so frustrating.

You never want to see a player do what Strip did. We've lost 8 of 12 coming into this and lost a ridiculous amount of close heart breaking games. Strip has been pulled early 3 straight games. His pitch count was up, getting those runners on put him in jeopardy of getting pulled again. He clearly wanted to stay in. If all those factors aren't baked into the cake Strip wouldn't have reacted the way he did. He's not that type of guy. He immediately apologized.

 

This isn't an offense that can't be forgiven.

Stripling has resembled a very solid bottom of the rotation starter since he and Walker fixed whatever his issue was. That's one bright spot in all of this.

That's the player hes been his whole career, ends up grading out as averagish but it is absolutely infuriating to watch. By far my most disliked regular on the Jays
