Actually it isn't. You make it sound like we have prime Andrew Miller coming out of the pen. We're about to use a questionable Dolis over Stripling who has allowed TWO hits thus far.

 

It's the same BS some people said when we pulled Shoemaker from last year's wild card game just so we could use AJ f***ing Cole in the 7th inning.

All outings aren't made equal. If stripling has it going then you ride with that unless you have a lockdown player taking his place. Regardless of how this inning goes, Dolis is NOT that guy.

I really mostly trust Dolis and have a lot of faith in Chatwood and Romano. We will burn 2 this game. What if we need them next game? I would have given Strip one baserunner in the 6th...first runner to get on I bring on Dolis or chatwood. He might have gone 3 up 3 down and you save one of the 3 guys you trust for the next game.

It was a bad move regardless of how that inning went. Dolis has been struggling while Stripling has been great TODAY. Youd probably pull a pitcher working on a perfect game because of "the numbers."
