Can't forget Biggigo he wasn't playing yesterday it affect him too and Kirk Charlie say he going to get more playing time also the DH role is not solely to reserve for Tellez or Grichuck it's hard to justify to leave out the team second best producing bat out of a line up no matter the manager. Yesterday was proof that the line up was a lot more spread and depth from 1 thru 9 without Tellez. Charlie likes to give his players opportunities as long as they capitalize on them like Kirk did yesterday now he can reward him with more playing time. Unfortunately Tellez didn't capitalize on his opportunity and he's been optioned to the minors

You've got the wrong Roberto Ramos lol. Ramos is a power hitting lefty that tore it up in AAA for the Rockies org but was never given a shot at the show. Just too many holes in his swing I guess. He plays for the LG Twins in the KBO now and had a great season last year.

Gurriel started 2019 the same way, was sent down for 5 weeks, and came back a monster.

 

There are 3 possibilities

 

Gurriel has lost his skills (vax side effect, natural early decay, random batting yip that is not correctable by any means)

 

 

This actually could be more of a problem than some people might imagine. My friend in the states was wiped out for nearly 2 weeks after getting the 2nd Pfizer shot. It's been a month later and he's still experiencing some lesser side effects. Can't imagine how it would be for a professional athlete.

Yesterday the Blue Jays decided to use Joe Panik at first base only his 2nd time playing first in the MLB now the jays have another option for 1st base when Vladdy needs a day off. this position in getting deeper in depth with Gurriel jr.,Biggio and now Panik all capable of playing first base. Looks like it might be quite awhile before you see Tellez up again unless he proves he can constantly hit too make it worth his promotion.

Just seen this, but would like to point out you're absolutely wrong(like usual). He can be DFA'd off the 40-man if we wanted to clear space for some of our other prospects expected to get the call this year, or if someone is acquired from another team.

With Vlad looking like a natural fit at 1B, I don't think Tellez has much longer in the org. If he was hitting up a storm at DH, then maybe, but having DH open to rotate/rest players seems like a much better use of the spot for the Jays, especially once Springer gets back.

 

Since the Brewers collect Jays players, my guess is he ends up a Brewer at some point.

Ya Tellez still intrigues me. He is hard to quit. No D value but huge raw EV power upside. For a LHH power bat, he has displayed glimpses of ability to use the whole field too. Just so many things wrong with him right now. Have to say for whatever reason he has been getting f***ed by the umps a lot lately as well. And now he is hurt.
