Montoyo said no injury and he is optimistic he can pitch this weekend. Last pitched a week ago

I thought Matz was doing really well but I just looked and he's just doing kind of okay! 4.86 ERA, not a lot of WAR!

 

He believes it's mechanical and he's close to his April form, I guess we see tonight.

He' dealing with a dead arm. May 7th was his last appearance, no IL list yet, they've said he should be good to go in this weekend series. It's creeping up to 10 days, f***ing sucks.

I wasn't in favor of Manoah coming up so early with little experience but maybe they need to just add him to the 40 man and get him here to stabilize the rotation.
