Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 It's coerced demoralization. Once a person is demoralized, the facts mean nothing to them - they are unable to comprehend anything other than what they have been programmed to believe. This "story" is the perfect example of this in action. Not ONE part of this story supports the theory of the fan yelling the n-word, but alas reality itself isn't convincing enough. Worse yet, if you read the comments, you literally see morons using the programming itself ("white people are inherently racist") as explanation to a basic logical conclusion: if this guy was yelling the n-word repeatedly as loud as he could, how come literally nobody in the vicinity is reacting at all out of shock or anger? "Well, white people are racist so of course no one is thrown off by it, they probably scream the n-word too!". Literally f***ing disgusting, and this is where society has been dragged to. I love how the guy is apparently screaming the n-word, but Lewis Brinson is just standing there and not reacting AT ALL? Yeah, that makes sense.... Such a ridiculous situation. Feel bad for the guy
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 Stroman is having a field day with this one Why am I not even slightly surprised. Always has to play the victim on and off the field
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 He's still a True Cardinal, shockingly. Did you consider the Sto/Hendricks offer I sent a few weeks ago, or dismiss it outright?
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 And he's hurt again? I'm watching the Giants game and Aaron Sanchez looks like a AAA junkballer now. I don't think so. He was only expected to go a couple innings. Designated For Assignment.
Laika Community Moderator Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 Did you consider the Sto/Hendricks offer I sent a few weeks ago, or dismiss it outright? I let it sit there for a while but didn't see the angle in the end. Hendricks still seems better for our league settings right now.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 Damn, Catillo's kicked me in the nuts to start the week on several teams. Ughh...

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Tatis Jr to play CF for the Padres If he can't play SS why the OF, it's just as risky. Surgery in the off-season next, get him right.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Tatis Jr to play CF for the Padres Lol wtf?? I mean I guess it makes sense since his defensive numbers are poo

No matter where he plays, the riskiest is him on the bases. I wonder if he’ll have to tone it down. Bad for baseball but usually happens that way

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Hahaha... they tied em again. 4 innings straight. Bases loaded 2 outs and SS Lopez takes a weird bounce from a grounder off his jaw. Can’t make the play, Yanks score 2 more in the 11th
