Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 And this is why no one wanted to play the Rays at the Trop. f***ing Tanner Roark.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Villar being just f***ing fantastic as per usual.
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 And this is why no one wanted to play the Rays at the Trop. f***ing Tanner Roark. No one? I'd rather play the Rays than the Indians.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Villar should not have any more at-bats this post season. Pinch running only. I would rather have Espinal play at second base. Or maybe we can use our actual second baseman at second base.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 And this is why no one wanted to play the Rays at the Trop. f***ing Tanner Roark. This. Sure the Jays said all the right things about confidence in beating Rays but the Trop numbers are what they are for us.
Scion Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I saw that double play coming. I think every Jay's fan saw that coming.

I do not understand why Villar is getting this much playing time, he was having a bad season when we got him, I was fine with the risk, but it hasn't paid off, cut your f***ing losses, he's just bad right now.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Villar getting a single plate appearance in the playoffs is sad. Even Panik is a better option against a lefty.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 But villar can switch hit guize!
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Remember buntoyo said they have to be creative. That's why shoe was removed
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 And this is why no one wanted to play the Rays at the Trop. f***ing Tanner Roark. Tanner Roark gave up 2 runs. The team decided that they wanted to play Tampa and their reliever choices dictated that. They were probably wrong.

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I don't understand the move myself, but generally when a decision is made and you dont understand the reason it is more reasonable to assume you are missing something than to assume the other party is retarded. Ya that we aren't sheep and don't know how to adjust to what the "numbers" show. Theres a difference between trusting the numbers if left in the hand of smart decision makers than dumbasses
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 No one? I'd rather play the Rays than the Indians. Same. Indians SP scares me
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 No one? I'd rather play the Rays than the Indians. I am psychologically more prepared to watch us be mowed down by Shane Bieber, Carrasco, Karinchak, etc. than the torture that it is to watch us get Rays'd at Tropicana Field.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Could Shoemaker pitch in game 3 if by some miracle we make it there?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Villar batting right after Teo is mind boggling. How Teo isn't batting third or fourth is just as strange as pulling Shoemaker. How are these types of decisions made on a MLB platform?

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 You can’t walk Kiermaier under any circumstance. Grove one if you have to. You don’t walk him and let him run
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Could Shoemaker pitch in game 3 if by some miracle we make it there? Probably as I think he would be scheduled for throwing day anyway. Probably 30 pitches or so.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Shoemaker must be furious.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 And this is why no one wanted to play the Rays at the Trop. f***ing Tanner Roark Its still only 1-0. Have faith. We'll have to get to their pen somehow
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Probably as I think he would be scheduled for throwing day anyway. Probably 30 pitches or so. He sure looked like it. He was yelling at Pete Walker.
rydermike Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Ray already more pitches than shoe in 1 and a third
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Vladdy can't be serious.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Could Shoemaker pitch in game 3 if by some miracle we make it there? I don't see why not.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Jesus Christ, start Kirk at first going forward.
