Slade Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Montoyo out smarting everyone again.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Gurriel showing how stupid it is for Montoyo to put him 7th in the lineup lol
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Does anyone know why Gurriel's 'BSR' on fangraphs is so awful?
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 What are you doing Bo? Seriously why?
Ex Player Verified Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 More stupid baserunning
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Yet another stupid baserunning error. This same error has repeatedly occcured. Is montoyo not telling them
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Nice swing Bo but ya... dumb mistake.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Nice swing Bo but ya... dumb mistake. I'll cut him some slack...the pitcher doesn't usually act as the cutoff man....of all the base running mistakes that have happened that one wasn't near as bad as some others.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Yet another stupid baserunning error. This same error has repeatedly occcured. Is montoyo not telling them He likes the “aggressiveness” so no I don’t think he tells them
Laika Community Moderator Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 In Bo’s defense, he was only out because Tanaka was out of position and of course it works out for them because it’s Yankee Stadium. Yeah I don't fault Bo on that. It seems like he read the fact that the normal cutoff man was overthrown correctly. Bad luck.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 That 2-1 pitch on Voit also wasnt a strike. I think the ump just sucks, not necessarily against the Jays. EDIT: and neither was the K pitch on Voit
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 If Gurriel keeps hitting like this, he'll be batting 8th or 9th soon.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Why cant our starting pitches have quick innings man. We must lead the league in average pitches per inning from our starters.
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Why cant our starting pitches have quick innings man. We must lead the league in average pitches per inning from our starters. He's only at 41 pitches through 2.2 IP?
Ex Player Verified Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Anderson needs to pitch inside more
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Jesus our half took like 2 minutes to get through, the commercial break was longer than that.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 He's only at 41 pitches through 2.2 IP? Merryweather pitched the first inning. Anderson has pitched 2 scoreless innings but still has thrown 44 pitches.

saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 ahhh....even sanchez is hitting against us.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Either Grichuk is playing far away from Gurriel or isn't moving at all in the OF
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Looking competitive in this series was fun while it lasted. Can't wait until the Jays are back in Buffalo. I liked it better when the Yankees were accusing the Jays of cheating (while the 50 runs the Yankees score in this series is all talent).
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 f*** the yankees and their humpty dumpty stadium
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 These games just show the gap between us and the Yanks. We are so far away from actually contending lol.
