Don't mind this. Davis has done pretty well against lefties in the minors. Not enough sample in MLB, but 87 wRC+ and .375 OBP in 41 PA in limited time. Eh, I'm fine with it. Although to be fair Villar has looked so trash since the trade, I'd probably be OK with anyone over him at this point.

The weirder thing if anything is not flipping Grichuk with Davis in the outfield but Grichuk has been pretty good in CF and they probably don't want to move him around too much so it's not a big deal anyway.

It just goes to show how far the mighty Yankees have fallen that they have to make up some BS excuse like that. They don't have the self realization that they currently suck and need to blame other things.

yup! I had to catch last nights gm on PVR late but didnt know the score. Man, that was fun to watch. Felt good for Jansen. He/we needed that blast badly.

I think us treating Villar like he was Trout or something was also a mistake. We stuck the guy in the heart of our order right away. Make him earn his way to the top of the order or enjoy being our 8th/9th guy.
