Fisher is really squandering his chances of getting more playing time. That was a horrible at-bat.

Why not pinch hit Vlad with the bases loaded, rather than saving him for the 9th when most likely he'll be up with 1 out and 0 on? Could have used Panik in place of McGuire in the 9th.

 

Buntoyo keeps thinking he's managing little league.

I would have one question for Montoya, why is Fisher batting ahead of Shaw, especially after the game Shaw had in game one?

 

As soon as all the stupidity is cleaned up with this team, including at the manager's position, we'll start making great strides.

Reese McGuire has been on base ONCE since July 28th.

 

He's dead last in the entire league for players with 40ABs or more. He had a -52 wRC+ coming in to the game and that only got worse after tonight. The next closest is Mercado at -29. He's the only guy in the league with at least 40 ABs to have a 0% walk rate. To be fair there's quite a few players with 1 walk who have 70 or so plate appearances so he has about 30 more PA to get a walk..lol

My question for Montoya would be: how did it feel to come over and win the CART championship, then the next year win THE 500 after having been unable to catch on in F1! Sorry, had to do it - seems you misspell the name intentionally.

 

P.S. in these parts he is more commonly known as 'Chuckles "The Monster" Buntoyo'
