Gotta hand it to Atkins. Year after year he never invests much into the bullpen but always finds a way to get good relievers.

He finds more in the bargain bin than most. Overall pen has been outstanding value. Be nice to get Giles back if he is healthy.

Nice complete team win; great first start for Walker, some timely situational hitting and great at bats throughout the lineup, and very nice bullpen work as well. Feeling really good about the team right now with the way they are going about their business.

With a healthy Bichette/Pearson/Giles/Romano you could squint and see this team making a little run in the playoffs.

Not so sure about Pearson, who was looking a little ineffective and velocity down (maybe it was due to sore elbow?). Hopefully he could go to the bullpen and contribute more. The other 3 you listed are obviously all massive help when they come back.

This was a weird game, especially in this hitter's ballpark with 14 total hits and only 2 XBH (each team with 1 double). Nice to see the Jays win without having to depend on the HR!

They're winning the World Series baby.

Yes, but I'd rather see a sustained compete with the Chisox and the Rays for the next several years.

Sign a couple of top free agents in the offseason, and keep the Kloff's and Groshan's. For sustained winning starting in 2021, otherwise known as what used to be this board's mantra.
