lol Arguably the best hitter so far this season batting 8th. Can't even really argue.. it's him Bo/Gurriel.

Montoyo's man crush on Panik is at least understandable when you dumb down the logic. Charlie is a minor league manager with no business on a big league field, so he's going to try to respect the vetrin at the end of the bench and play him even though he hasn't been good in years. But why Tellez batting clean up? Hernandez destroys him in practically every statcast indicator you could possibly find (so don't tell me power is a reason), and Tellez had a 80 wRC+ against righties last year (40 so far this year), so there's no established platoon advantage either.

 

Oh well. At least Hernandez is in the lineup for now. Hopefully Panik is ready to pinch hit just in case.
