I just want to play poker, gamble, enjoy sport. BTS just wants to chop up dead hookers and watch baseball. Deadpool doesn't drink anymore so I am not sure what he wants to do when he is not watching baseball. None of us want to have to babysit this board 24/7 and I sure as f*** don't want to have to explain the rules over and over again. It was warned that there will be lines that are blurry. I try to avoid banning when they are. I gave JG44 a day because he asked for a banning. Asking for a banning will always get you a banning.

No it does not clear anything up at all. For one thing, now the remaining post after you edit doesn't even make sense. Also, who is to say what is political and what is a social issue with a political aspect to it and that also is relevant to baseball. You are walking a line that I doubt will have your stated effect of increasing usership here. But like you said, it's your sandbox, so you make the rules (even though they are murky as hell).

Yeah that's pretty inexcusable to say the least. I recall in one of the Boston games that Gavilglio was being mentioned by Montoyo as a high leverage reliever and didn't think that could possibly be true.

I looked at this closer and with Romano, Bass, Dolis, Giles and Cole having been used already (between games 1 and 2), and with Hatch and Kay scheduled for a 'piggyback start tomorrow' the options available at that point for fresh BP guys were : Gaviglio, Moran, Waguespack and Yamaguchi. I would have preferred Waguespack or Yamaguchi, especially the latter.

There is a strong possibility with a very short training camp that they weren't willing to pitch guys back to back and risk injury. With them needing hatch and Kay tomorrow, they had used Cole so that left Gaviglio, Yamaguchi, Moran and Wag.

 

Now he could have been honest and said going into the 8th I was down to 4 garbage relievers and I wanted to puke, but backing his player and saying he's a high leverage guy was probably the right thing to say.

 

There's a game tomorrow. Why is it you make zero posts in the first game thread and you wait until things implode in the second game before posting?

I'm not buying that. Cole could have stayed or you bring in Bass who only threw 17 pitches the previous day. Nobody can throw 2 days in a row? f*** that.

 

I guess he can't public say "you know, you're right - I misused Gavilio who's f***ing s*** and better suited for long relief/mop up duty. I won't make that mistake again" - but f*** me. You can't say you think he's a high leverage guy. I'd be temped to fire him and make Dante the f***ing manager after s*** like that.
