Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 (edited) Houston gained 60 million new fans overnight. With tickets going as high as $22K, that is the bastion of the Swamp and rich Washington elite. The average working class Nationals fan watching at home wouldn't be booing. PS: If you want to bring politics into the WS thread, no one gives a f*** about what some Brit thinks about it. Your'r countrymen all booed Thatcher back in the day, the best PM you ever had since Churchill. Go back to commenting on Rugby and Cricket and other sports no one on this board or in North America gives two shits about. Edited October 28, 2019 by Carlos Danger
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 If you're a Trump supporter in that situation, would you cheer? The crowd could be 25% against Trump, 25% for him and 50% indifferent and the 25% loud mouths plus some hangers-on could be filling the stadium with noise. No, I'm not defending Trump here, I just think it's not a newsworthy event. Half the people in the country don't like him. WOW! what a revelation...
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Whoever is cheering for Washington because of the Expos is weird. If I'm a salty Expos fan, I want the team to fail and then fold or move out of Washington for the third time, maybe back to Montreal. Washington and Montreal have no relation to each other whatsoever.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 Lol. Can't imagine that will be up long. I wonder what kind of list I get put on for viewing it? List of guys who like tits? Don't worry, it's just a notch below domestic terrorist.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 Can't wait to watch the meltdown from these idiots (including Bob and BTS) when he's re-elected. "B-b-but he got booed at a baseball game?!?!!"
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 List of guys who like tits? Don't worry, it's just a notch below domestic terrorist. Apparently the two women are executives for a porn site or something. They tried to claim it was for breast cancer awareness, but yeah, no one's buying it.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 Apparently the two women are executives for a porn site or something. They tried to claim it was for breast cancer awareness, but yeah, no one's buying it. I'm pretty sure they're just regular models, at least one of them has a very large Instagram following. If you look to the twitter accounts of one of the flashers they actually do have a campaign for breast cancer awareness, where money donated is supposed to go towards paying medical bills of women in that situation, and they were planning to do this all along. Now I'm not sure if that's a particularly helpful for their campaign or if they just wanted to do it for the hell of it (why not both), but those are the perceived facts from their end.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 If it is ok for woman to expose breasts in public for breastfeeding, what is the big deal for Cancer awareness and fund raising.. I wonder how they would have handled it if a woman had tickets behind home plate with a baby and whipped out a titty to breast feed... Lord have mercy if they would have kicked her out...

Lord have mercy if they would have kicked her out... nipples is covered when the child is breastfeeding. The nipple changes everything. Plus, for the love of god, 99.9% of breastfeeding women put a cloth over their tiddy. In fact, I'm not sure I've actually seen a women in public with the tiddy hanging out for all to view.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 I need ~1,500 strikeouts and 260 RBI tonight for DFS purposes (assuming no game 7). Let's go pitchers!
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Except for the fact that they are same team relocated to another city. Are the Baltimore Ravens still any semblance of, or have anything to do with the Cleveland Browns?
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Are the Baltimore Ravens still any semblance of, or have anything to do with the Cleveland Browns? Are you saying that the Nats and Expos have "no relation whatsoever"? That was the claim. I dont think I have to spell it out for you...or?

I dont think I have to spell it out for you...or? You guys are all waving the Expos flag and projecting that if the Nats win the Expos somehow win and ergo something Montreal can feel proud about and brag about... Parts of the USA used to be parts of Mexico, Spain, and France.... When the US won WWII, did the Mexicans start posting the Mexican flag on internet chat boards and saying Viva Mexico because the parts of the USA a long time ago were parts of Mexico!! ???
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Did you see that flashback they showed? Jack Buck called the 1991 World Series Game 6 walk off HR by Kirby Puckett saying "we'll see you tomorrow night" (for game 7) And then Joe Buck made the exact same call "we'll see you tomorrow night" 20 years later in 2011 when David Freeze hit a walk off HR in Game 6 of the World Series? I never knew that before. That's incredible. Jack Buck died in 2002. Joe had probably been waiting ever since to honour his Dad. Could you imagine the emotion when Freeze hits the Game 6 walk off and he finally gets to make that call at the perfect time. He must have been balling. That's what's great about baseball.

I have zero problems with Joe Buck, really liked Jack Buck and while I am at it, I really liked the FSN1 crew that did 2015 ALDS. The Buck that is the f*** that I can't stand is Martinez...
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 That is probably offensive to someone, and someone else is probably having a seizure from that right about now... You were probably posting the Canadian flag on baseball chat boards back when Babe Ruth hit his first home-run on Toronto Island and posting on Facebook it is a great day for Canada...
