Ex Player Verified Member Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 I'm picking the Stros in 6. But I suck at picking winners so if you're a betting man pick the opposite. First pitch tonight at 8:08pm http://www.logotypes101.com/logos/1/499EC5A1D87E8401E226FC348D00CE67/astros_h_star_color.png vs.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 1. The Nationals have zero remnants of the Expos left. It is like saying that the Baltimore Ravens are still the Cleveland Browns. 2. The Astros are AL, and I normally want an AL team to win vs a NL team. 3. The Astros are from the great state of Texas, and I like Texas. 4. The Astros employ a wife-beater, equal to Hitler apparently, as their closer. This just shows they are compassionate. 5. I feel that Osuna, Diaz and Gurriell all have more connections to the Jays then I feel for Hudson. Therefore, I Carlos Danger, hereby proclaim, I want the Houston Astros to win the WS and I agree with my fellow board member.. 6 games.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Omg Gurriel is a postseason hero.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Lol Buck, that was obviously a high fastball and he's calling it a breaking ball in the zone.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Scherzer needs some quick innings.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 It sure is a shocking difference watching Suzuki back there as opposed to watching Gary Sanchez.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 That was one hell of an oppo nuke from Soto.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 That was a huge out to get out of the 4th for Scherzer. can he go five?
Ex Player Verified Member Posted October 23, 2019 Author Posted October 23, 2019 Thats a perfect inside-out swing. 2 on, nobody out. This is gonna be trouble
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Cole not looking so dominant.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted October 23, 2019 Author Posted October 23, 2019 Maybe this is finally Washington's year
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Juan Soto is so f***ing good
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Nats looking like a team of destiny this post season.
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Amazing they are up 3 in this game given how it's played out.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Why is Corbin pitching?
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Maybe this is finally Washington's year Yankees won game 1 in Houston.. Astros won in 6
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Why is Corbin pitching? He did well.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 He did well. No argument, but seems to be a waste not to start him.
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Well there's one back.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Did Matt Vasgersian just say "you need 5 more outs right, I don't understand why they aren't going to Doolittle or Hudson here" - in the bottom of the 7th with 1 out? #thatsbadmath
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Did the announcer just say "you need 5 more outs right, I don't understand why they aren't going to Doolittle or Hudson here" - in the bottom of the 7th with 1 out? #thatsbadmath Yes. Yes they did.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Interesting decision to bring in Hudson to face Gurriel instead of Doolittle....but it worked.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Yes. Yes they did. Shocking that Buck didn't catch that and correct him.....yeah nevermind, it's not.
