Oh please...a simple eye test watching them play you can see he has a similar poor approach.

 

Like 200 other MLB players that chase off the plate, again, not much similar at all.

Not sure why Thornton is even in this game. He threw 80 pitches in 3 innings. i know we need the SP to eat innings but he is probably already tired.
