BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 He says he played with Rob Ducey in little league, man. He's Canadian, Paul Spoljaric if he actually played in the MLB. Did he say that? Hmm I’m not sure then. Most of my good guesses doesn’t match this criteria. I’m thinking of a ex-blue jays hitter between the age of 27-32 that played 2000-2009

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 When swinging a bat keep your arms as close to the body as you can. You will decrease your swing time as low as possible, but also keep the meat of your bat as much as possible on the outer part of the bat, which is where you want it!! Any more tips you want?? This sounds like somebody’s half cut uncle sitting in the stands watching his nephew’s PeeWee game on Canada Day long weekend
Ex Player Verified Member Posted June 12, 2019 Author Posted June 12, 2019 LOL....not Rob Butler. Forgot about him, actually
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 LOL.....maybe some of you can figure out who I am?? Me looking out over the SkyDome ( I refuse to call it the Rogers Centre). Pic taken just 3 seconds ago Hazel Mae?
Ex Player Verified Member Posted June 12, 2019 Author Posted June 12, 2019 This sounds like somebody’s half cut uncle sitting in the stands watching his nephew’s PeeWee game on Canada Day long weekend Then you have no clue what you're talking about. The first thing they teach you in the Minor Leagues is keep your swing close to the body, and always try to line the ball back up the middle. If you're early you'll pull a single, and if you're late you'll line a single in opposite field

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 Conine update 4-4, double, 2 HR Nice. Metafour is right, getting busted probably allowed him to work on launch angle and better contact
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 Conine update 4-4, double, 2 HR Dunedin promotion coming soon..
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 Did he say that? Hmm I’m not sure then. Most of my good guesses doesn’t match this criteria. I’m thinking of a ex-blue jays hitter between the age of 27-32 that played 2000-2009 It might not be an ex-Jay. I'm actually thinking it might be Siddall.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 It might not be an ex-Jay. I'm actually thinking it might be Siddall. You guys are just trolling, right? Nobody actually thinks that he's an ex professional ball player, i hope.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 Tunnelling what?? Tunnelling pitches?? Please explain?? That's all the proof we need to know you aren't a former pro player.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 TIL the first thing that happens when you report to minor league camp is they sit everyone down and instruct them to keep their hands close to their bodies. All the teams. Everyone must learn this first step on their pursuit to becoming an Ex Player
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 It might not be an ex-Jay. I'm actually thinking it might be Siddall. Joe is one of the nicest humans on the planet and down to earth. But I’m not sure he would be giving people hitting tips on an online forum.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 Good thing Mancini didn't run into Davis, he would have been flattened.

But I’m not sure he would be giving people hitting tips on an online forum. Heard the complete opposite from two people who knew him pretty well in Toronto. Can’t say myself. Never met the man.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 I'm pretty sure it's tercet x-Player is much more positive than Tercet. A lot of his comments are more like "If this guy wants to succeed he needs to improve this", Tercet's comments are like "I saw this guy swing at a bad pitch and it revealed a flaw and he will never succeed ever, not a chance, and if he does seem to be succeeding it's a random fluke which will end soon, and when he slumps remember I told you so"
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 It might not be an ex-Jay. I'm actually thinking it might be Siddall. You guys are actually buying this? I've been under the impression it's been a troll the whole time. He likely just has a nice hotel suite.
