Ex Player Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Author Posted June 6, 2019 Jays vs. Yankees game 3 lineup:
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I wouldn't want to start a new gdt with Jackson on the bump either.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Stuff looks shockingly good, but he's got no idea where it's going.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Maile didn't catch that well, but that was clearly a strike.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Author Posted June 6, 2019 Dont tell me he's gonna pitch his way out of it
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Jackson's stuff genuinely looks pretty decent but he's got terrible command of it, the fastball in particular.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Author Posted June 6, 2019 LOL....he totally misses his spot and still throws a strike
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I don't like the lack of Biggio and Grichuk in the lineup today. Edit: Nevermind, Grichuk DHing. Though... Drury in RF is silly.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 He’s got to keep that 2+ WHIP going! There’s a difference between rebuilding/letting the young guys play and purposely losing...starting Jackson fits the latter. Rather finish 28th than 20th
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 That was a terrible slide lol, but Sogard keeps getting it done.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Author Posted June 6, 2019 Whats not to like about Sogard?? I can see a contender wanting him by trading deadline as a utility INF'er
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Rather finish 28th than 20th In theory that sounds good but it would mean that basically nothing goes right. If we finish 20th that means that something positive like Gurriel established himself or Thornton had a good year or something. And it will be that much harder to climb to the top from 28th than 20th.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 That strike 2 on Guerrero was not even close to a strike
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Strike 1 to Grichuk was a ball... f*** this ump.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 4 straight balls, but it's 2 and 2.

That means a lot more for the future than the difference between 3rd and 11th in the draft.

Understood, but other than a few guys, the Jays of the future contender are not on the club today, they are in the minors or yet to be acquired.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I think that was more that he took a bit too much time there.

But not necessarily true if they're 10 wins better as a whole. In your preferred scenario, that's absolutely true though.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Hope that throw doesnt come back to bite us.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Whoa, Kepler with back to back no doubters off Bauer
