Few years from now if one of our other catchers in the minors develops and is ready for the bigs?

I think they are committed for the season....he may right himself but it's been ugly thus far.

Replace him with which Minor L. catcher?? We dont have anyone remotely ready.

 

Only way is if they trade for one and that isnt going to happen (unless one of our 2 catchers get injured maybe)

Jansen looks totally over matched nearly every at bat.

 

Your offensively starved team scores 4 and what do you do Pannone? Walk the first batter on 4 pitches.

Jansen's head must be spinning trying to play big league defence and learn all these pitchers we throw at him weekly. Just let him DH a couple times a week to focus on his ABs.

 

This is actually not a bad idea.

 

He just looks so over matched right now.
