Gurriel looks like he's turned a corner since being in AAA. wRC+ above 100 now

 

Obvious plate discipline issues but he hit the ball pretty hard according to statcast last year. Maybe he can just be a low walk, decent average and power type of guy who can play a decent OF and a passable 2B. That'd be a good bench player.

Really? Didn’t realize $3.14M/yr is the going rate for everyday players now.

We signed him for 7 years too at 23/24 yrs old, he still hasn’t reached 30 homers and 100 RBI. Look at all the potential power bats he’s blocking in Buffalo with Teoscar, McKinney, and Alford!
