baubau Verified Member Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Smoak is the best. I'll be sad when he gets traded. Hope the Jays can bring him back for a 1-2 year deal but he'll likely try to bank in, which is fair.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2019 Author Posted May 26, 2019 April 26? It’s my birthday again. My bad, haha!
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Come on Jays pitchers...make it so that Gurriel can have another AB. It was just the Jays day. If Paddack pitched it would have been 13-1
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 We don't have a lit of options for catchers do we? Hard to keep Jansen up if he keeps going like this. What is the reasoning at this point other than confidence?
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Ken Giles is just so filthy. Casually firing a 99 MPH four seamer to blow away Margot. He is just so fun to watch pitch.

Ex Player Verified Member Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 I think Jansen might need to be sent down. I believe him to be our future no. 1 C but a 36 wRC+ is not good And replaced with which minor L. catcher??
Barkerfan23 Verified Member Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Need a serious piece for Ken Giles
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 I knew he didn't look right, sweating profusely and kept giving the horse sigh with his lips, guy's a gamer.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Sign Stroman to an extension. I’m going to keep saying this until it happens. Don’t be spending $50 mil on Grichuk and not paying Stroman who we need a lot more and is much better.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 (edited) Gurriel looks like he's turned a corner since being in AAA. wRC+ above 100 now Obvious plate discipline issues but he hit the ball pretty hard according to statcast last year. Maybe he can just be a low walk, decent average and power type of guy who can play a decent OF and a passable 2B. That'd be a good bench player. The money he got is not for bench player Really? Didn’t realize $3.14M/yr is the going rate for everyday players now. We signed him for 7 years too at 23/24 yrs old, he still hasn’t reached 30 homers and 100 RBI. Look at all the potential power bats he’s blocking in Buffalo with Teoscar, McKinney, and Alford! Edited May 27, 2019 by BlueRocky
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
