That’s gotta be the first time ever someone hit a walkoff homerun and didn’t get the post game interview lmao.

They could have atleast interviewed both of them. I’m dying lol.

Drury probably had someone else interview him

I think Vlad might already have a top 3 swing in the majors. Just a simple swing with perfect balance, bat speed, and enormous power

Vlad had 4 good PAs and made every play at 3B. This team is instantly a ton more fun to watch.

He just missed one ball with an attempted dive, but yeah absolutely 0% at fault for that. Looked fine at 3B, wasn’t slow or restricted by his weight, and had a couple of laser guided throws.

Amen brother! I've actually missed more games than usual this season, but you can bet I'm gonna be glued in or taping the game from now on.

Jon Morosi interviewed Drury. Vlad pored Gatorade on both. Then the interview was cut short because Stroman came out and said, Get the f*** in here we are having a party!

True! Heard it live.

MLB did 30 straight minutes on Vlad and the game (90% Vlad) after the game was over. They were loving it- Playoff atmosphere. Most fun/energy since playoffs.

Now they are ripping on Wilner.. However, they think it was Ben Wagner, it was not.

They played Wilner’s call when the camera man screwed us.. Apparently Wilner must have been watching the feed and not live, he called it like it was a no doubt HR!

The guys on MLB Network just crushed Wilner. So funny.

Add remarkable plate discipline and a maturity at the plate far beyond his years. He should be an amazing hitter for a long time

The fact that I even have to ask this question scares the crap out of me, but what if Tellez lead off the 9th inning, and hit a double. Vlad would be up with a runner on 2nd and 0 out.

Does Buntoyo bunt in that situation?

Regarding yesterday's bunt, the run expectancy with a runner at 2nd and nobody out is 1.19 runs. The run expectancy with a runner at 3B and 1 out is 0.98 runs. But it was the bottom of the 9th in a tie game, so that doesn't really matter. The probability of scoring at least one run with a runner at 2nd and nobody out is 0.62, and the probability of scoring at least one run with a runner at 3B and 1 out is 0.69. So McKinney getting the bunt down increased the probability of winning the game. I don't know his probability of successfully getting a sac bunt down, but with the way he's hitting, it's probably significantly higher than his odds of contributing if told to swing away.

Most of Montoyo's bunts are ******** because they've come in situations where he's decreasing his total run expectancy in order to increase his odds of scoring at least 1 run, but in yesterday's situation it was very defensible.

Best post I have ever seen from you. I have a tear in my eye I am so proud. Congratulations on your balls dropping and becoming a man!

In that case I would let Vlad hit away because he is a very low K hitter and has great bat control. Most other hitters, especially Blue Jays, I say bunt!
