jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted February 24, 2019 Author Posted February 24, 2019 Looking forward to Grant's scouting reports after this game.
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 Early advantage to Borucki for the 5th starter spot.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 Pompey with a dinger in his first AB.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 Vladdy with his first hit and RBI of the spring. Hustle single (apparently, I'm radio scouting...)
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted February 24, 2019 Author Posted February 24, 2019 Patrick Murphy is having a bad time.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 Danger’s astute obsvervation of the day: Everytime the Jays have had a big inning or comeback since September, Rowdy Tellez has been in the line-up and in the middle of it. Need to get him in the line-up!!
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted February 24, 2019 Author Posted February 24, 2019 Jays making a late comeback here

Need to get him in the line-up!! If we get a good return on Smoak, sure. If they dump Morales, sure. Barring either of those two things happening, get used to Tellez being in AAA.

We can get some decent guys (if packaged) and we can give Reese and Rowdy solid spots on the 25 man.

I'm still holding out a small amount of hope that Pillar is traded before the end of spring training. I want Alford in CF for this year, let's just see if we have anything there at all. Morales isn't getting traded, nobody wants him. Maile isn't getting traded, nobody wants him. Stroman will be with this team all year barring a crazy offer (he's under control for two more years, it's kinda silly to expect that he'll be traded at this deadline unless they're blown away with the offer). Smoak? I like him on the team, I would consider an extension for him if we don't get a decent offer. He's certainly going to be better than Tellez overall.

Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 How about that graceful slide into home plate. He apparently stumbled going around 3rd then did an awkward head first slide into home, as mentioned. I think we might be in for a dissapointment with Vlad, between his weight and skimming the edges of injury causing tendancies, I hope I am wrong, but I see alot of IL time for Vlad
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
