Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Sanchez with another good start tonight
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Man, Sanchez must be loving Houston's offense. They're completely annihilating the O's.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Sanchez with another good start tonight 6:3 K/BB against the Orioles in 5 innings is pretty gross.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Sanchez with another good start tonight So what exactly is Houston doing with his pitch mix?
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Yordan Alvarez also had 3 homers tonight.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Yordan Alvarez also had 3 homers tonight. Jesus Christ. He's a baaaaddd man.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Jesus Christ. He's a baaaaddd man. Yeah he is going to be a great hitter.
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 20-1 Houston in the 7th. Near the end, a part of me was rooting for the Astros to put up as much runs as possible.

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Sanchez with another excellent outing. Stros must be laughing at us The frustrating thing is that we get good pitchers and don't know what to do with them. Sanchez is still the same pitcher as 2016, but we failed to get it out of him. I hope that we have more success with our other young pitching.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Sanchez with another excellent outing. Stros must be laughing at us "Excellent outing"
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 He had a 2.62 FIP! First off, it was the Orioles Second off, xFIP over 4 Third off, BABIP luck Sanchez still suxxxxx
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 So what is Sanchez doing? Is he throwing more curveballs again? If so either his nail is going to fall off soon or the Astros' med team really knows what's up.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 First off, it was the Orioles Second off, xFIP over 4 Third off, BABIP luck Sanchez still suxxxxx I think he does too. Off to a good start with the Astros though.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Sanchez with another excellent outing. Stros must be laughing at us Lol
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 The league average xFIP for starters this year is 4.47.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Apparently "excellent" and "average" are interchangeable. Learn something new every day.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Apparently "excellent" and "average" are interchangeable. Learn something new every day. Plus it was the Orioles... People and their knee jerk reactions.

I hope that we have more success with our other young pitching. 1/3 of the Jays season is against the Yankees and Red Sox and Rays, and when they are ballin there is no hope, not to mention the grossly unbalanced schedule for which two WCs are dished out. Getting out of the AL East must feel like a release from prison.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 First off, it was the Orioles Second off, xFIP over 4 Third off, BABIP luck Sanchez still suxxxxx The same Oriole team that just took a dump on Verlander...yep they sure do suck

I'm pointing out how its dumb to say it's the Orioles they suck, what do you expect that start means nothing...then the next day the best pitcher in the AL gets dumped on by that same team lmao. It means Sanchez' start was good...period!!!

BTS Community Moderator Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 The Rays just pulled Yarbrough with nobody on base, one out away from a complete game shutout. He was at 99 pitches. The Rays wonder why they have no fans.
