Looks about right actually. I can see that holding up. I can also see the Yankees and Rays flipped a few times and ending up with either as division winner and the other as a WC

I picked Yankees to win the division before the season started. I now think they may be closer than most of us realized

There are still 3 really good teams in the AL East. Rays project for 91 wins right now. They are not as good as a healthy Yankees but there is zero chance that all those Yankees come back and are reaching their projections.

King Felix is terrible. Given a 4 run lead and can't get through 3. I know he hasn't been walking many but he's so hittable now. He was lucky to not give up a 3 run shot to Chavis, and last inning he got away with so many misses.

 

On a side note I'm disappointed that in Fantasy I never got any pieces of Devers while everyone was down on him.

Been watching a handful of Reds games by happenstance lately. Joey Votto doesn't look right to me. I'm not sure if he's nursing an injury or if age has just caught up with him. His numbers have been pretty brutal for the season so far.

Since they traded Dwight Smith Jr and became a regular he has more production than any of the Jays players on their roster. He would lead this team in BA, HR's and RBi's and played some solid defense at times with some spectacular plays looks like the Blue Jays might of screwed up on this guy. The real sad part is they let him go for nothing future considerations sometime one has to really wonder what the front office was thinking about.

Tbf they needed to create a roster spot and had a surplus of outfield prospects on the 40 man.

 

The choice to DFA was Alford (too much upside), Pompey (injured and then moved to the 60 day IL so not taking up a spot), McKinney (only recently acquired) Davis, or Smith Jr.

 

So the question you should be asking yourself if do you think Smith Jr or Davis is the better player. Toss a coin IMO. Note that Davis has more options left too.
