onwego Verified Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Yesterday was Baltimore's home opener, teams without a roof tend to have the next day without a game in case of postponement due to weather on the scheduled opening day. They started early this year without the usual spotty scheduling, and it can be justified, but cutting out on a Friday night game doesn't feel right. Stranger than the Leafs not playing on a Saturday night, even a road game.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 You can sort his years by adderall/non-adderall. I imagine the effects of having to go off adderall are making his performance even worse then if he was never on it to begin with... um...he was allowed to go back on adderall. He's been on it the past couple of years I believe.
tbad Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Red Sox getting hammered... enjoy it while it lasts.
tbad Verified Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 um...he was allowed to go back on adderall. He's been on it the past couple of years I believe. No he's not... apparently he's only allowed another drug called 'Vyvanse'. You really think it's not a coincidence that he goes from being horrible to non-horrible when he's off and on adderall?
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Reds off to a 1-6 start. Don't expect them to be that bad, but don't see them anything more than a .500 team in the NL Central this year.

Are they "that bad"?
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Jorge Polanco with 2 singles and a double, triple, home run tonight.

You really think it's not a coincidence that he goes from being horrible to non-horrible when he's off and on adderall? Adderall and Vyvanse are essentially the same drug. Vyvanse was created because stupid kids would snort Adderall and die, so Vyvanse doesn't activate until it undergoes a chemical reaction in your stomach. Otherwise they do the same thing.

Good... good... let him crumble. >=] So that way the Padres get desperate for Stroman and trade Paddack or Patino for him. ^.^!

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Sorry random question but how the hell does a LHB ever hit a homer in San Fran? It helps if you're Barry Bonds.

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Mike Trout is good. More at 11. I feel like he's going into those streaks where he goes from a typical HoF into Babe Ruth.

BTS Community Moderator Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Everything about Trout's numbers so far is bananas. Would be fun to see him put up like a 220 wRC+ for a few years.

Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2019 Author Posted April 7, 2019 Puig getting after it again. This all started after the Pirates didn’t like Derek Dietrich pimping his home run. Baseball players are f***ing stupid.
