If Betts' arm and glove were over the fence and into the crowd and the fans didn't reach into the field of play then the call was absolutely wrong.

 

Second, there's no way Joe West can see whether that's the case from his angle, so he's just guessing. Had the call on the field been a home run, there's no way that call would have been overturned either

No way. The pic I saw Betts was clearly outside the area of play. No fans were reaching out.
