Doesn't seem right to me. Should be ineligible to pitch in the minors until his suspension is served, period.

Oh my bad. I thought someone said yesterday he was allowed to get some rehab games in prior to his suspension being over (not sure where I thought those rehab games were going to be)

He's been pitching in extended ball in Dunedin, he was eligible last night, cool.

If that's the case I stand corrected, but I thought I read that he was making rehab starts prior to the suspension being up, which wouldn't make sense to me.

I admire Craig Breslow's dedication to baseball. They had a good pregame interview with him the other day and although he has made plenty of money, he just loves the game enough to toil away at AA.

I would think his suspension would be for 80 games played by buffalo, not toronto. Buffalo is only at 71 games.

In this case I imagine he's hanging around to get a shot at 10 years of service time, since you get a huge bump in pension when you reach that mark. He's at 9.113, currently.
