Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 Cant even get 1 fnnn run with bases loaded 0 out... This team really sucks..
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 don't you mean April 15 2020. We're not going to compete next year, and Vlad has to prove himself at AAA first. Lol
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 What a depressing team. Someone hold me.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 Can we get ONE big f***ing hit anytime soon? Holy f*** Nah, relying on the HR that expectedly dried out...gonna be a tough going until they start hitting them again. I think they said only 3 teams have a worse Avg then ours...tells a lot
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 Can we get ONE big f***ing hit anytime soon? Holy f*** The baseball gods gave us a ton of big hits early in the season. It was so much fun, but naturally, they are all gone now.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 On the plus side, Loup might turn into a sellable asset at the deadline. He's quietly having a pretty decent year.

This f***ing trading assets talk irks me big time I'm not going to lie, it might not be super objective or anything like that but its not even June yet.. I dont know, maybe the solid April over hyped me but I feel pretty crestfallen about this season already.

Ehh, I hope they go on a run, but their best players are either hurt, sucking badly, both, or awaiting trial. Not to mention they are 10 games in the loss column behind the 2nd wild card team. Stick a fork in these guys. It was a nice run with JD. 2/4 years in the playoffs. But it's over barring a miracle.

You're probably right, not a lot of positives to look at right now. Can't believe how much Stroman and Sanchez fell off, was also expecting at least something from Garcia and Estrada, and we've gotten less than nothing, they're hurting the team if anything. Even if those guys did produce, the Yankees and Astros look like true super teams so it was hopeless from the start. Although a wild card spot would have made the season at least watchable.

Yes, unexpected outcome for sure. You come into the season with a "set" 5-man rotation that individually have all seen success in recent years (if not last year). Heck, I somewhat expected Sanchez to be on the 60 day DL with blister issues by May 1st, but he's been reliable! He just hasn't been Aaron Sanchez Regardless, I was fairly confident that 3 / 5 would have "good productive" seasons and with better middle infield offence and a new bullpen, we would cover that up.... Here we stand with 1 / 5 starters having a productive year.....
