Even if Gift has a statistically nice game, please never call him one of the players of the day. It's triggering.

What does Romano need to do to get respect on this board..? You guys threw some valid stats at me last time I asked this question. However, the guy keeps on performing, game after game at his level....and at the end of the day he has a .207 era and is avg 6 plus innings..

He's ran into babip luck (.187) and he's 25 years old. His xfip of 3.97 is right around where his skill level says he is. Still looks like an AAAA pitcher, maybe turns into a half decent #5.

I'm gonna do it every day now, even when he goes 0-5 with 4 Ks.

Deal with it princess.

This. Age/level isn't as important for pitchers IMO, but it's still important. 25 in AA with incredible BABIP luck on his side right now doesn't paint a very rosy picture for his potential as a major league starter.

As far as his ERA goes... yeah... .187 babip is astronomically lucky, even as a flyball pitcher.

if Biggio is still putting up same numbers by the end of July, is it fair to say he has upgraded to legit MLB regular potential?

Already there IMO
