Only 8 games in AA and he gets a callup--it shows how depleted the Nats OF is of depth. Along with Kendrick, they also have Eaton, Robles, Bautista on the DL as well, and they don't exactly want to touch Moises Sierra again.. it's a mess.

And JD, Pillar, and Happ. Jays would be so much better off... instead this wing and a prayer of a season.

I applaud the Nats for this. But they are in a much different situation than us. They need to win this year. They need to do everything to try to convince Bryce Harper to resign which includes making bold aggressive moves like this. Considering he already has excellent plate discipline he will probably be able to hold his own and get on base when he slumps.

Vlad and Soto would be one heck of a back to back in the lineup.
