That was a really smart play by Gibbons. The Twins are in their own heads right now. Gibby put a 1st and 3rd play on with a guy that no one expected to steal. I doubt Morales had any intention of actually taking the bag should they have tried to throw it to 2nd. He wanted to get induce a throw so Pillar could try to score. The Twins predictably f***ed it up.

Twins have 50+ games against the trio of dog poop in the Central. They will end the season over .500 (unless they turn into poop themselves), but they may not be gifted a wild card spot like last year.

The schedule helps but that advantage is basically wiped out and more by the slow start. Going to be tough to get a WC for them IMO.
