Here's the opening day lineup from just 4 years ago in 2014. Zero players remain on the roster from this lineup. Pretty crazy

I think they want to keep Donaldson batting second.... which then means you get one of Travis or Grandy to hit leadoff and given Travis being faster and less of a power hitter maybe it made sense to drop Grandy down to the 4 hole.

Maybe a bit of Gibbys reaction to spring training. Granderson has been hammering the ball, where both Smoak and Morales have not.
