That is just embarrassing for everyone involved, I'm sorry.

 

Agreed. It's sad to see a bunch of guys on a message board call out the best prospect in baseball for being a little overweight at 18 years old. Some have even called the kid obese which is far from the truth.

I think the kids will be in better shape with a full season of AA.

I feel like Bo is gonna stay under the radar and absolutely rake this season while all the spotlight is on Vlad.

He was never anywhere near as thick as Vlad Jr. currently is.

Any predictions for Sanchez first finger blister?

 

They said he's had blister issues for years, but plans on going back to mostly how he used to address them and feels he can probably just work around them if necessary.

I'm hoping he can continue pitching in ST and harden that finger up. Then he should be okay.

 

I hate to pin the 2018 season hopes on one guy, but if we get 2016 Sanchez we have a shot and at a fun fall. 2017 Sanchez means a repeat of last year.

Yeah his health is huge this season. I'd say our playoff hopes rely mostly on Donaldson's health and in general the starting rotation's health of which Sanchez is probably the biggest question mark.

 

We have pretty decent depth everywhere else and could afford normal levels of injuries to the OF, the rest of the IF, and perhaps even C depending on how good Jansen is. But if Donaldson or the rotation get struck with big injuries we are in trouble.

Not good. Doesn't sound too serious yet but sometimes little reports like this end up being huge news. Last year he had that armpit discomfort and some thought he was seriously injured but he didn't even miss a start.

There’s so little coverage and hype on Bo it’s not even close.

Every time there’s a BJ prospect discussion he’s taken the backseat.

His bat could be just as good while having a chance to stick at SS/2B while nobody really talks about him.
