How about Omar Vizquel as a manager option?

 

Eventually I think our manager will be Martin. You just know it's gonna happen. Well liked, speaks English and French, intelligent.

It was just BNS and Zwelling talking what ifs, it's all Jeff Blairs fault.

 

I heard Gibbons wax on about him maybe getting the axe all this morning, it’s a bit more than sniffily saying it’s just an internet rumour.

He's answering questions honestly... like I wish Blair didn't start this rumour is all. I hope he stays, I'll wait for proof.

Gimmie some possible Jansen comparisons.

 

MLB catching is so random so there are tons of comps - he could be a good hitter with bad D, or a surprisingly competent defender without much pop - how the tool/skill package will play long-term at the MLB level is just so hard to predict.

 

He could be a fringe backup... or Francisco Cervelli, or Wilson Ramos, or a less athletic Realmuto. Who the f knows.

Yaaaaaaaa SRF monday, I hope for the best, but expect something stupid like 2.3 ip 4bb 3k 4er.

 

For Jansen just hope for a backup I guess? From the few clips i've seen him hit homeruns, he likes to beat up on hanging breaking balls. Not sure how he will do against 95 fastballs down/away.
