MarcoSanchez Verified Member Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 It would be really nice if the twins and the tigers can climb into a 3 way Al Central race. Would like to see those teams turned from sellers into buyers

bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 how the f*** are the mariners so good, they're 1 game back from the astros despite having an over +100 difference in run differential

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 Jo Adell might be the next 19 year old in AA After a slow start in high A, wRC+ up to 145 Does not include HR #8 he just hit, in 109 PA
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 (edited) Mike Trout has eclipsed 6 WAR for the season. I have a bad feeling he's somehow not in the lead for MVP but Mookie Betts can get f***ed. Edited June 17, 2018 by Orgfiller

He is not going to be the next 19 in the majors.

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 He's striking out 27% of the time in high A ball. He is not going to be the next 19 in the majors. I dunno. A 27% K rate in the high minors is not as worrying to me as it once was. Especially since he's 19 in AA.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 He's striking out 27% of the time in high A ball. He is not going to be the next 19 in the majors. Way to completely misread the post. As if a 27% K rate as a 19 year old in A+ is that big of a deal anyways in this day and age.

Maahfaace Verified Member Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Lol Adrian Houser puked twice on the mound today and still kept pitching. The 2nd throw up in his mouth was gross as f***. He really tried to swallow it back down. Brewers' Houser remains in game despite puking on mound twice https://www.thescore.com/mlb/news/1559092

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 I'm not sure why I go to Fangraphs anymore. If BaseballSavant produced even one article a week it would probably be ahead of Fangraphs in terms of utility. Top article on Fangraphs right now is the important of Pride Month in the MLB. The utility is the stats, not the articles.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Reading FG for the articles is like reading playboy for the articles. Fap to the stats. Ignore the other junk.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Anyone know/remember how suspended games restart, do they have to have the same players in the line-up, etc, from the moment it was called? I'm sure if guys are inactive etc, wouldn't have to be there correct? I mean, they should start back up right here, right? https://www.mlb.com/gameday/yankees-vs-nationals/2018/06/18/530032#game_state=live,game_tab=,game=530032
BTS Community Moderator Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Nah there's still decent stuff like Fringe Five or other league wide analysis. The articles basically save you time and point stuff out to you straight away. Or at least they used to. Otherwise on BaseballSavant you have to trudge around figuring s*** out yourself. But now they are just spamming us with social issue articles when we are basically the most objective demographic possible and couldn't care less about a player's sexual orientation or gender. Send those articles to readerships that need them like Trailer Park Weekly or something. At this point, anything not written by Jeff Sullivan or Cistulli is probably going to be trash.
