jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 I just took one of those Facebook survey's that's supposed to tell me what political party to vote for. There were 30 questions and I think I felt this way about 29 of them. The scary thing is I bet about 95% of the people who took the survey felt confident in their opinion about 25-30 of the questions and will base their votes on the strong (uneducated) opinions they have. Facebook is extremely Democratic/Liberal, I'm assuming that's the answer it will spit out regardless of what your answer is to the questions

Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 Rougned Odor may now be a terrible baseball player, but he's still a dick:
HypeLikeJoseCruzJr. Verified Member Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 Wow, read the article before seeing the replay. According to Rougned it was a good clean slide and Jeff Bannister called it "appropriate".
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 Someone should hit Odor and I wanna see some blood
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 The Nationals are in a tied game in the bottom of the 13th. If they take the lead, we could see Tiny Tim come in for the save

If they take the lead, we could see Tiny Tim come in for the save This would be epic. In other news from that game, Turner is having quite the night. 0-6 with 5 ks (and Harper has chipped in with 4 of his own).

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Mike Trout is a double away from the cycle. I love him.

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 What f***ing piece of s***. I hope unthinkable things happen to him. I've never understood why a player is still allowed to try and affect the play once they are out. Bitch slide aside, he's out by 15 feet there easy, why is he allowed to try and interfere with a fielder after he's out? His slide hadn't even started before he was out. A simple rule tweak would easily get rid of this garbage. If your slide hasn't started by the time you've been called out... you can't do it.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Tanner Roark out of the pen? Well s***, must be a toss day, right? 586 ft. HR, lol.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 I can't see s***, on this forum! Wacha lost his no-no... every nuance I find in is shut down.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Yet another win for Seattle! They're playing so well, they've overtaken the Astros in the standings (pending the results of the game vs. the Red Sox). It makes this week's 2 game set with the Astros and Mariners interesting.. plus, Seattle also gets to clobber Tampa again next weekend. I can imagine the anger in Anaheim right now watching the Mariners and Astros lay waste to the AL West.. 4.5 games back when they were supposed to be a top team--Mike Sciosia's(and the Angels coaching staff)'s job security has to come in question.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Seattle now in first place in the AL West Impressive

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 um...there is a rule to eliminate this? Boxy - you think this s*** is OK? I know there's a rule on what a bona fide slide is, but is there actually a rule on when you can or cannot start it? Generally speaking most guys slide after they are out just to avoid getting a throw in the teeth, or they just peel off the baseline like Kendrys does after being thrown out by 45 feet.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Gleyber Torres with another bomb today. Not sure why Boone is still batting him 9th, he's sitting on a .414 wOBA while Greg Bird comes back from the DL and immediately slotted into the 3-hole. He should probably be batting leadoff when he plays. 4 out of Torres' 10 HR are centre/oppo, just an excellent all fields hitter. He has all the makings of a career .300 hitter.
