Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Wow... it's f***ing May, lol. Good trade for the Mariners. Shows they’ll be buyers at the deadline - maybe they’ll want Happ back.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Wow... it's f***ing May, lol. I guess deals can happen before the deadline.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Nothing gets the fans out to the park like waving the white flag in May to save some $$. When did fans ever show up in Tampa?
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Newcomb suxxxx leftie in fenway against the bosox... i didnt start him in bbdl today
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 I guess deals can happen before the deadline. We should probably take this route before the bullpen completely implodes and Happ gets hurt or something.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Mike Trout is amazing. 10 bases tonight.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2018 Author Posted May 27, 2018 Mike Trout is amazing. 10 bases tonight. 207 wRC+ on a .317 BABIP lol. It must be pretty great to be Mike Trout.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2018 Author Posted May 27, 2018 Hustles down the line for an infield single, because why not? Trout is 5-5.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Hustles down the line for an infield single, because why not? Trout is 5-5. Not bad for a guy who has already reached the threshold for being an average Hall of Famer for his position... at 26. And yet Bonds peak was still better... still blows my mind to watch Trout and marvel at how amazing he is, like clearly a tier above anyone else in the game right now and everyone else for the past 40 years except for that Bonds guy.
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 So this Trout guy is pretty good.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Five hits a new career high for Trout.

Why are starters/closers even a think a team should be focused on getting outs and nothing more.

DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 Hustles down the line for an infield single, because why not? Trout is 5-5. If I had one wish, it is to be reincarnated as Mike Trout.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 I dislike Romo-ing because it's going to be a pain in the as for fantasy baseball. Meh, it's not THAT big a deal (with the exception of someone who is a Romo owner and can't get a win, hold, OR save, ever).

Yup, unless we see teams starting guys like Kenley Jansen, Chapman, Kimbrel, Hader at the beginning of the game for 1-2 innings, I don't think it isn't that huge of a deal. Teams would still want their best relievers for situations late in games.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 The troll is that the Rays are doing this to save money first and win games second. Romo got rekt in a 3rd of an inning, lol. F U Rays!
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2018 Posted May 27, 2018 This game in Cleveland is nuts, I've been watching since it was 8-3.
